                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JIMMIE DOTSON, CHIEF
                 OF THE CHATTANOOGA POLICE DEPARTMENT, TO SIGN
                 VOUCHERS, REQUISITIONS AND OTHER NECESSARY
                 DOCUMENTS FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CHATTANOOGA
                 POLICE DEPARTMENT, EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 7, 1997.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Jimmie Dotson, Chief of the
       Chattanooga Police Department, be and is hereby authorized to 
sign
       vouchers, requisitions and other necessary documents for and on
       behalf of the Chattanooga Police Department, effective October 7, 

       1997.
